Larry Kranking President and CEO Mr. Larry Kranking, is a Senior Executive with over 31 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical & Regulated Life Sciences industry. His record of extraordinary accomplishments includes leading start-up pharma companies, implementing innovative regulatory strategies, expertise in efficiency improvements and being a turn around expert in animal health, cGMP pharma and medical device operations. Mr. Kranking is an
internationally recognized leader who has influenced the overall
regulated environment by chairing a number of collaborative teams that
included both industry and FDA scientists, engineers and regulatory
experts to develop the guidelines that define today's biopharma
manufacturing world. His business /
operations experience includes the start-up of cGMP manufacturing
facilities for Boehringer Ingelheim and Eisai Inc.
Mr. Kranking holds a
degree in MBA in Pharmaceutical Marketing/Management & a degree in
B.A. in Sociology, Minor-Accounting/Business from Fairleigh Dickinson

Eric W. Smart Executive Vice President Eric Smart has over 15 years of sales, sales management, marketing and project management in the pharmaceutical contract research and contract manufacturing industries. He held positions at AMRI, Organichem Corporation, AlliedSignal and Albemarle Corporation.
Mr. Smart was a co-founder of Organichem Corporation in 1999 and was a member of the management team that organized the management buyout that formed Organichem. As VP of Business Development he played a key role in realizing the company’s financial milestones that led to a successful sale of the business to AMRI in 2002.
Mr. Smart holds a BS degree in chemistry from Vanderbilt University and an MBA from the University of Maryland. Prior to entering the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Smart served eight years as an officer in the US Navy. |

Vickie Hall, Ph.D. Vice President of Manufacturing Vickie Hall brings over 20 years of experience in managing research, product development, manufacturing and operations for vaccines and pharmaceuticals. Most recently, she served as Executive Director of Manufacturing Science and Technology at Ben Venue Laboratories, Inc., a subsidiary of the Boehringer Ingelheim Corporation. Additionally, she served as Vice President of Operations at Fort Dodge Animal Health (FDAH), a division of Wyeth, and has previously held other high level positions in operations, quality control, and business development. Dr. Hall holds a BS degree in Animal Science, MS in Animal Nutrition, and Ph.D. in Immunobiology and Nutrition from Iowa State University Dr. Hall is a member of the Parenteral Drug Association and the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers. |

Alex Ledin Vice President of Finance Alex Ledin has been helping businesses improve their strategy, finances, operations and products for more than 15 years. As an entrepreneur, he successfully financed and managed the cash flow for a variety of growing businesses. He has led finance and accounting functions for organizations with more than 1,000 employees. Trained as an engineer, Ledin led efforts at a number of high-tech manufacturers to improve products and productivity while reducing capital intensity. In his consulting assignments, Ledin has developed strategic plans and played a key role in product commercialization efforts for a wide range of multinational corporations. |
